The TRC — Tyndale, Rogers, Coverdale, Cranmer text is based on the first printed English Scriptures from the original tongue; Being: the five books of Moses called the Pentateuch translated by William Tyndale 1530 & Jonas, and the rest of the Scripture books being from Matthew’s Bible 1537 (that includes a W.T. 1535 N.T. edition) by John ”Thomas Matthew” Rogers who was later also a martyr for the sake of the Gospel in the people’s tongue. The Gospell off Matthew is from the W.T. Cologne quarto fragment of 1525 that only went up til Chapter 22 verse 12; and the rest of the New Testament is the W.T. Worms octavo edition of 1526.

by William E. Paul. Revision of 2002. This is a version of the New Testament Scriptures with notes and comments in brackets, within the text, to help make the inspired message more understandable. It is intended primarily for its translator, his family members, and a few persons interested in Bible translations. Geographical places are located, cultural circumstances are explained, monetary references are calculated, historical allusions are cited and some obscure concepts are briefly commented on, all within, but distinguished from, the actual text of the New Testament. The idea is to make the Scriptures understandable.
