LSB Test Project The LSB testing project is a work in progress. It is a program of tests being developed to verify runtime environments and applications supporting the LSB specifications. Postal - SMTP and POP benchmark program. This is a program I am writing to benchmark SMTP servers. I started work on this because I need to know which mail server will give the best performance with more than 1,000,000 users. I have decided to release it under the GPL because there is no benefit in keeping the source secret, and the world needs to know which mail servers perform well and which don't! in Public bookmarkswith programwritingbenchmarksmtpserversworkmail
Stupid Computer Tricks These images are the result of 8 years in the retail computer industry - 8 years that are thankfully behind me. I used to work in the service department in a retail store of a very famous computer company (think cows...). During this time, I was able to observe (and preserve for posterity) the aftereffects of the - shall we say - "technology challenged" folks. My friends and relatives couldn't believe the stories I told - thus this collection of photos. in Public bookmarkswith imagesresultyearsretailcomputerindustrythankfullyworkby 3 users
XMLTV XMLTV is a set of utilities to manage your TV viewing. They work with TV listings stored in the XMLTV format, which is based on XML. The idea is to separate out the backend (getting the listings) from the frontend (displaying them for the user), and to implement useful operations like picking out your favourite programmes as filters that read and write XML documents. in Public bookmarkswith xmltvutilitiesmanageviewingworklistingsstoredformatby 4 users
