  The objectives of the present project are to deepen and concretize the concept of village tourism, to use tourism as a catalyst for integrated and sustainable development in villages, and to create a viable structure for European cooperation with regard to village tourism, a tool for multifunctional cooperation susceptible to vehicular concepts and good practices in the defence of environmental, architectural and cultural heritage, offering global quality in relation to goods and services, using cooperation as an instrument for development, and making fruitful the relationship between town and countryside.
