Here's the problem; what if you have a video card that has 512MB, 640MB, 768MB? Yup, that will be mapped to the 4GB of addressable space. So if you had a 768MB NVidia 8800 card and 4GB of RAM, you'd lose 768MB of that 4GB of memory immediately to the device making it non-accessible "memory" for the OS.

From the horse's mouth. When the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society's HCI Standards Committee(of which I am a member) was working on this issue, we agreed that itdepended on the task. If the user is likely to be scanning down lookingfor a specific field, left alignment can be helpful because it's easier tofind the fields. If the user is likely to be familiar with the form andentering data field by field, right alignment is helpful because it'seasier to recognize which label goes with the field of interest. Both ISO 9241-12 and HFES-200 say that labels should be right aligned ifthey are of widely varying lengths and that they may be left aligned ifthey are of similar length. Note the "should" and the "may".Personally, I almost always right align labels,

It is worth asking prospective providers the following questions:Who owns the backbone?Which 3rd party local loop carriers will they be using the 'tail circuits'? Remember, this is where the majority of problems are likely to occur.Ask to see a list of references of similar companies that have deployed MPLS.
