<description>Die neue Version der Content Management Interoperability Services 1.1 wurde am 23.05.2013 auf der OASIS Webseite veröffentlicht: http://bit.ly/CMIS_1_1 . Mit der neuen Version kommen auch notwendige Funktionen für das Records Management mit der Verwaltung von Aufbewahrungsfristen, Legal Hold u.a. hinzu. Einige Schwachstellen der bisherigen Version wurden ausgeglichen. Wieviele Anbieter bis wann die neue Spezifikation implementieren werden, bleibt abzuwarten. <description>Die Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) gelten als wichtiger Standard für die gesamte ECM-Branche. Am 10.12.2012 hat OASIS die erweiterte Version von CMIS veröffentlicht. Der erweiterte Standard CMIS 1.1 umfasst jetzt auch Funktionalität, wie sie für das Records Management und die elektronische Archivierung notwendig ist. Hierzu gehören z.B. Retention Periods (Aufbewahrungsfristen) und die zugehörigen Attribute. Noch ist nicht bekannt, welche der Mitglieder des Konsortiums wann und in welcher Vollständigkeit die neue Spezifikation bereitstellen werden.</description>
