KNOWN BUGS: Tagging a bookmark with too many tags can cause Firefox to crash or stall because of the fact that as many bookmark copies are created as there are permutations of its tags. Firefox then becomes slow on start up and shut down, and it seems the only way to fix it is to uninstall Bookmark Tags. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Expect a revamp of Bookmark Tags in the next version. In the meantime, please don't tag bookmarks with more than three or four tags.
