The scripts below require [WWW]Greasemonkey, which is an extension for [WWW]Firefox. The Greasemonkey extension allows users to alter the content and behavior of any website through user scripts which work inside the browser. Many scripts are available for you to install, like the ones below.

I did kind of imply that I would make improvements this Greasemonkey script that adds a "copy this link to Yahoo My Web" functionality to del.icio.us. Specifically, that the script should copy tags and descriptions as well, not just the link and the title. Unfortunately, I had to rewrite the whole thing to get it to work like I wanted it to.

Are you a Google AdSense publisher? Do you worry about accidentally clicking on your own ads and being thrown out of the program? I have a solution for you. Today I’ve released a Greasemonkey script for Firefox which prevents you from clicking on your own Google AdSense ads. The script prevents clicks on both ad units and link units. You can still click on others’ AdSense ads, however.

Jag har alltid gillat on-line webb feed läsaren Rojo. Alla de extra finesserna som Rojo har som inte Bloglines har, gör tjänsten mycket intressant.

Rojolicious accepts a del.icio.us username and generates a greasemonkey script that rewrites the on-click event of the "Share" button on Rojo's share pages (pages that match the url pattern http://*.rojo.com/share/* ). Then, when that button is clicked not only will the story you're looking at be shared in Rojo, but it will also be posted to your del.icio.us account in a new window.

If you have any version of Greasemonkey installed prior to 0.3.5, which was released a few hours ago, or if you are running any of the 0.4 alphas, you need to go and upgrade right now. All versions of Greasemonkey aside from 0.3.5 contain a nasty security hole, which could enable malicious web sites to read any file from your hard drive without you knowing. #
