It allows you to neatly structure your code and load classes on demand when they are needed. While the package loader is fairly straightforward on the surface, there are a few nuances that are worth exploring. It's also important to understand how best to structure your classes and when to load them so that you optimize not only the load time, but also the users perception of load time. This article assumes you understand the basics of the dojo.provide and dojo.declare functions as its focus is the dojo.require function which does the actual loading.
